As the scheduled installation day approached, we were all set to go. But then the thunderstorms and brutally high temperatures rolled in.

You might think that the weather doesn’t pose a significant obstacle to bathroom remodeling. After all, the work area is indoors, not outside.
But most of the prep work actually happens outdoors. That includes such things as:

- Prepping the shower pan for plumbing
- Cutting wood studs and wall boards
Given this reality, the combination of driving rain and high temperatures can make the process a lot more difficult. How?

First things first, Scott and Nathan checked in with Sheree and made sure she knew they were ready to go as scheduled. Next, they used floor coverings to establish a protected path to her bathroom.

When we were sure there were no problems hidden behind the walls, we safely transported the new shower unit to the bathroom. We then installed it along with Sheree’s chosen accessories.
